You'll need to 'Download' the pixel images to make them work, unfortunately. After icon surfing for a little bit, I figured it out ^_^

A lot of people on dA have found an issue with pageviews... you only get the views if you have 'connections' and such. As much as I'd like to say that that isn't true, it is. After leaving my old account, I've figured out how much those little boxes lined up under 'friends' had done for my post count. So, I decided to go off and start finding new artists, one icon at a time. I love dA icons. They're fun, unique and a great little 'advertisement' for the world to see.

Try this when you have the time:
Go to Browse
Find a random piece of art that you really like
Visit that artist, and look under their 'Friends' page, or in their comments
Select an icon that catches your eye, and head thattaway!

Now, this only works for a little while. If you're like me, you're probably going to run into artists that you know, no matter how randomly you start. At that point, you go back to browse and start again!
I promised myself I wouldn't watch a ton of artists here. My inbox on my other account was up to around 2000 messages after I took a break. Now that I've started back on this habit, I can't help it, though! I may have to give in X3
